1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Full name, WhatsApp/mobile number, and event details when making a booking
Payment information processed securely through Razorpay — FotoFast does not store card details
Profile information if you apply as a FotoFast photographer (name, phone, area, skills, camera equipment)
Ratings and feedback you submit after a session

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Session data: start time, end time, duration, and OTP verification records
Photographer real-time GPS location during active sessions (Start OTP to End OTP only)
Device type and browser information for PWA compatibility
Booking history, payment records, and session status updates

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect photographs or videos taken during sessions
We do not access your camera, microphone, or photo gallery
We do not collect data when no session is active

2. How We Use Your Information

To confirm, manage, and fulfill your photography booking
To assign the most suitable photographer based on your location and service
To send booking confirmations, OTP codes, and session updates via WhatsApp
To process payments and generate session invoices
To track photographer location during active sessions for your safety
To calculate session duration and final billing amounts accurately
To maintain session records for dispute resolution
To improve our platform and develop new features

3. Location Data — GPS Tracking

⚠️ Important Notice About Location Tracking

FotoFast collects real-time GPS location of photographers during active sessions ONLY. Tracking begins when the photographer verifies the client's Start OTP and stops when the client's End OTP is confirmed. This data is accessible to FotoFast administrators only. Clients can view photographer location on Google Maps during active sessions. Location data is retained for 90 days then permanently deleted.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

With your assigned photographer: your name, event details, and OTP (phone number is not shared)
With Razorpay: payment processing data under their privacy policy
With Firebase/Google: booking and session data stored on Google Firebase servers
With law enforcement: only when required by Indian law or court order

5. Data Retention

Booking records	3 years for tax and dispute purposes
Session location data	90 days, then permanently deleted
Payment records	7 years per Indian financial regulations
Application data	1 year after application decision
Account deletion	Email legal@fotofast.co — processed within 30 days

6. Data Security

All data stored on Google Firebase with industry-standard encryption
OTP-based session control prevents unauthorized session manipulation
Admin panel protected with Firebase Authentication
Photographer identity verified against approved records before any session access

7. Your Rights

Access: request a copy of all data we hold about you
Correction: request correction of inaccurate information
Deletion: request deletion subject to legal retention requirements
Portability: receive your data in a structured format

8. Cookies and Local Storage

FotoFast uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to save session preferences and booking history thumbnails. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

9. Children's Privacy

FotoFast services are intended for individuals 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

10. Policy Updates

Material changes will be communicated via WhatsApp to registered phone numbers at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of FotoFast after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing fotofast.co, using the mobile application, or completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

2. Service Description

FotoFast is an on-demand photography and videography booking platform operating in Hyderabad, India. We connect clients with pre-screened, approved photographers for events including weddings, birthdays, maternity shoots, corporate events, and portrait sessions.

FotoFast acts as a booking platform and session management system. Photography services are delivered by independent FotoFast-network photographers who are not employees of FotoFast.

3. Booking Process

Select a service and review pricing on fotofast.co
Complete the booking form with event details and preferred date
Pay the ₹500 booking advance via Razorpay to confirm your slot
Receive your unique 4-digit Session Start OTP via WhatsApp
A photographer will be assigned within 2 hours of confirmed payment
On the day, share your Start OTP with the photographer to begin the session
At session end, a 4-digit End OTP will appear on your session page — share it with the photographer to conclude and confirm billing

4. OTP Session Control

⚠️ Critical — OTP Security

Your Start OTP and End OTP are the keys to your session. Share your Start OTP ONLY when the photographer arrives and you are ready to begin. Share your End OTP ONLY when you are fully satisfied the session is complete. FotoFast is not liable for session disputes where OTPs were shared prematurely. Never share your OTP with anyone other than your assigned FotoFast photographer.

5. Pricing and Billing

Traditional Photographer	₹2,500 for first hour + ₹1,200 per additional hour
Traditional Videographer	₹2,500 for first hour + ₹1,200 per additional hour
Candid Photographer	₹6,000 for first 2 hours + ₹2,000 per additional hour
Cinematic Videographer	₹6,000 for first 2 hours + ₹2,000 per additional hour
Booking Advance	₹500 — adjusted in final bill
Payment Methods	Cash, UPI, or bank transfer at session end

Session duration is calculated from the moment the Start OTP is verified to the moment the End OTP is confirmed. The system records exact timestamps and billing is based on this recorded duration.

6. Client Obligations

Provide accurate event details at the time of booking
Be available at the booking location at the confirmed date and time
Treat FotoFast photographers with respect and professionalism
Ensure the event venue permits photography before booking
Pay the balance amount before the photographer leaves the venue
Not share OTP codes with anyone other than your assigned photographer

7. Photographer Network Standards

Arrive on time with professional equipment
Enable GPS location sharing upon Start OTP verification
Treat clients with professionalism and respect at all times
Never share the client's phone number outside FotoFast
Deliver edited photographs/videos within the stated turnaround times
Maintain quality — 2 poor ratings results in removal from network

8. Prohibited Uses

Illegal photography including without consent or obscene content
Corporate espionage, surveillance, or investigative purposes
Circumventing the OTP system or manipulating session timing
Creating fraudulent bookings or testing without genuine intent
Harassing, threatening, or abusing photographers or staff

9. Intellectual Property

The client receives personal usage rights to all delivered photographs and videos
The photographer retains copyright by default unless a written transfer is signed
FotoFast may use session photos for marketing with client consent
You may not sell or commercially license images without written consent

10. Limitation of Liability

⚠️ Liability Cap Notice

FotoFast's maximum liability in any dispute is limited to the total amount paid for the specific booking in question. FotoFast is not liable for photographer no-shows beyond offering a replacement or refund, technical failures of third-party services, indirect or consequential losses, or events outside our reasonable control.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through direct communication. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

12. Termination

FotoFast reserves the right to cancel any booking, suspend any account, or remove any photographer at our sole discretion if these Terms are violated, fraudulent activity is detected, or the safety of any party is at risk.

1. The ₹500 Booking Advance

The ₹500 booking advance serves as your slot confirmation fee. It is deducted from your final bill when the session is completed. Its refundability depends on the circumstances of cancellation as outlined below.

To cancel, contact FotoFast via WhatsApp or email including your booking ID (e.g., FF123456). Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original Razorpay payment method.

3. FotoFast Cancellation — Full Refund Guaranteed

If FotoFast is unable to fulfill a confirmed booking, you are entitled to a FULL refund:

No photographer available or assigned within 2 hours of payment confirmation
Assigned photographer fails to arrive within 30 minutes of agreed start time
FotoFast cancels the booking due to circumstances within our control
Technical failure of booking or payment system preventing service delivery

✅ FotoFast Guarantee

If we fail to provide a photographer for your confirmed booking, you receive a 100% refund of the advance payment AND a ₹500 credit toward your next booking as compensation.

4. Dispute After Session Completion

4.1 Legitimate Grounds

Photographer arrived with clearly inadequate or non-functional equipment
Session duration recorded by system is materially incorrect due to a technical error
Delivered photos/videos are of objectively substandard quality
Photographer behaved unprofessionally or violated FotoFast standards

4.2 Dispute Process

Submit dispute within 48 hours of session end to legal@fotofast.co
Include your booking ID, description, and supporting evidence
FotoFast acknowledges within 24 hours
Investigation completed within 5 business days
Resolution communicated in writing with reasoning

4.3 Dispute Outcomes

Photographer at fault — proven	Full or partial refund plus action against photographer
Client at fault	No refund; case closed
Technical error proven	Billing corrected; difference refunded within 3 business days
Insufficient evidence	No refund; both parties notified

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Dissatisfaction with subject matter, lighting, or weather beyond photographer's control
Client changing the event scope after booking
Client requesting the session to end early — billed for actual duration
Client sharing OTP prematurely or without proper verification
Disputes raised more than 48 hours after session completion
Force majeure events including natural disasters, civil unrest, government restrictions

6. Refund Processing

Razorpay payments: 5–7 business days to original card or UPI
FotoFast credits: applied within 24 hours
Cash payments: refunded in cash within 2 business days

FotoFast does not charge any processing fee on refunds.

3. GPS Location Data — Full Disclosure

📍 GPS Tracking — Complete Transparency

WHEN: Activates ONLY after photographer verifies client's Start OTP. Stops ONLY when client's End OTP is confirmed.

WHAT: Latitude, longitude, accuracy radius, timestamp — updated every 10 seconds during active session.

WHO SEES IT: FotoFast admin panel only. Clients can view current location via Google Maps link during active sessions.

STORAGE: Stored in Firebase under the booking record, overwritten each update. Purged after 90 days.

CONSENT: All photographers explicitly consent to GPS tracking as a condition of joining the network.
